Born in Ireland and raised for a large part of his childhood in Africa. Paul has a wide variety of experiences and influences to draw from for his work. Trained at the National college of Art in Dublin and, further a graduate from Goldsmiths with the brit art brat pack who remain friends. After working in New york for a few years, cutting his teeth with artists and sculptors, as well as with the design group Clodagh and architect Robert Pierpont. Paul returned to London in 1988 and set up his home and shared studio space in a squat with Gary Hume. From 88 onwards Paul has focused on interior design, creating many different environments in all areas of public space. For example the Interim Art Gallery , the Elbow rooms, private penthouse apartments and restaurants. Paul has become a part of the tapestry of east London, Adding his own very personal touch in Hoxton Square. Zigfrid bar is Paul's statement of living, eating, drinking socialising and relaxing in understated, comfortable style. The office at 11 Hoxton square stands in the same spot as the former squat Paul and Gary shared. Obsessively hard working Paul makes sure he takes time out once a year to travel to a different place in the world ever expanding his catalogue of influences.He continues to produce new furniture lines and expand his repertoire of work.
